Streszczenie angielskie: Hypoglycaemia is the most common complication of insulin therapy in type 1 diabetes. Most surveys have demonstrated that the tighter the glycaemic control, and the younger the patient, the greater the frequency of both mild and severe hypoglycaemie. It is well known that severe hypoglycaemie, particular in very young children may disrupt their cognitive function, but associations with epilepsy is not established. Strategies to diminish the risk fo hypoglycaemia should be investigated.
