    Streszczenie angielskie: The aim of the study was the clinical assesment of the calcium hydroxide points (ROEKO) used in the infected root canals treatment. 73 teeth (121 root canals) were submitted into the study, and finally 66 teeth with a diagnosis of irreversibles pulpitis were evaluated. After anamnesis and clinical evaluation of every single patient were completed the root canals were negotiated according to the chosen methodology. The Calciumhydroxid points (ROEKO), were applied intracanally during the routine root canal treatment. The time of treatment and the number of necessary appointments to have the endodontic therapy successfully completed were taken into account while evaluating the effectivenes of Ca(OH)2 points. The application of Calciumhydroxid points resulted in the limiting of the necessary medical appointments, and in reducing the time of conventional root canal treatmetn to 2.6 appointments on average. Ca(OH)2 guttapercha points are revommended in infected root canals treatment.
