    Streszczenie angielskie: The MCNP Monte Carlo transport code [1] with the MCNPDATA cross section library [2] has been used to calculate absorbed dose distribution in water and polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) for a 32P Guidant Corporation source. The paper presents the calculated absorbed doserate radial distribution for water and PMMA and absorbed dose rate axial distribution for water. Based on the calculated radial absorbed dose distributions, the scaling factor of the PMMA relative to water was determined. The sensitivity of the calculated absorbed doses to source electron energy spectrum was investigated. Calculations were performed using a personal computer with a Pentium III 600 MHz processor.
