    Streszczenie angielskie: A case of an alcoholic patient who was disqualified for cerebral MR because of artifacts caused by metallic foreign bodies is presented. The patient denied these foreign bodies. In the CT metallic pellets in both external auditory meatus were found. This case illustrate the need to have metal detector in the MR laboratories. Lack of information about metal elements in the body is potentially dangerous for the patients.
