    Streszczenie angielskie: The article emphasizes the place of pathological grief in psychiatric classification systems and suggests the need to precisely conceptualize pathological grief and diagnostic criteria which differentiate pathological bereavement from Major Depression and from "normal" mourning. In addition the article presents results of the Berlin Wisdom Paradigin Research and suggests possibilities of using the results in pathological grief prevention. Finally the article describes difficulties in therapeutic work with people who suffer from such a human condition as mourning for a loved one.

    Streszczenie polskie: Autorka opisuje interaktywne programy treningu umiejętności rodzicielskich, takie jak: PAW (Parenting Adolescents Wisely) i CAPP (The Computer-Assisted Parenting Program), stosowane za oceanem. Są one skuteczne w redukowaniu problemów związanych z wychowaniem dzieci. Zwiększają wiedzę rodziców na temat osiągania sprawności rodzicielskich i polepszają funkcjonowanie rodziny.

    Streszczenie angielskie: New opportunities are available today to provide parent training in a variety of settings. The author describes interactive programs for training parents as PAW (Parenting Adolescents Wisely) and CAPP (The Computer-Assisted Parenting Program). These programs are brief and requiring no trained staff for its delivery. Users receives feedback about their choice from the computer. Research has shown these programs to be effective at reducing problem behaviors in children, increasing parenting knowledge about parenting skills and improving family for traditional family interventions. However barriers to dissemination of this approach include parents' discomfort with computers and the belief that interpersonal problems can only be solved in an interpersonal context.
