    Streszczenie polskie: Wykonano badanie kliniczne oceniające skuteczność stosowania płukanek Batericin i Fluoricin w trakcie codziennych zabiegów higienicznych jamy ustnej. Badaniem objęto 56 osób, w tym 34 kobiety i 22 mężczyzn w wieku od 18 do 45 lat. Uzyskane wyniki wstępne potwierdzają przydatność stosowania płukanek Batericin i Fluoricin.

    Streszczenie angielskie: Clinical examination was carried out to estimate the effectiveness of Bactericin and Fluoricin mouthwashes in the course of daily oral hygiene procesured. The examination involved 56 individuals, including 34 females and 22 males between the ages of 18-45 years. The initial results obtained indicate the usefulness of Bactericin and Fluoricin mouthwashes.

    Streszczenie polskie: W pracy oceniano relacje pomiędzy pierwiastkami: Ca, Mg, Na, P w cemencie korzeniowym u osób zdrowych i u pacjentów z zapaleniem przyzębia dorosłych. Stwierdzono zależności pomiędzy parami pierwiastków Ca i P, Ca i Na, Ca i Mg oraz ujemny współczynnik regresji: wzrost zawartości Na, P i Mg powoduje spadek zawartości Ca w kostniwie. Stwierdzone zależności były bardziej nasilone w kostniwie pacjentów z zapaleniem przyzębia dorosłych.

    Streszczenie angielskie: The study evaluated the relationship between the trace elements Ca, Mg, Na and P in the dental cementum in healthy subjects and in patients with adult periodontitis. A dependency was found between the pairs of elements Ca and P, Ca and Na, Ca and Mg, as well as a negative coefficient regression: an increase in the level of Na, P and Mg causes a decrease in level of Ca in the cementum. The dependencies observed were stronger in the cementum of patients with adult periodontitis.

    Streszczenie angielskie: In the work the researchers present the characteristics of Carisolv - the system designed to the chemo-mechanical removal of carries tissue. The composition, mechanism of functioning and the structure of the complementary tools are described as well as the methodology of clinical conduct. The focus was directed on the theroetical basis of the chemo-mechanical removal of carries and the development of these methods in the course of the recent years. Additionally, a new mechanical device Carisolv Power Drive constituting a development of the current system is demonstrated.
