    Streszczenie polskie: W celu zapewnienia wyższego poziomu jakości świadczeń medycznych wdrożono w polskich szpitalach zewnętrzny proces oceny zakładów opieki zdrowotnej, zwany akredytacją. Otrzymanie certyfikatu jakości przez szpital w dużym stopniu jest uzależnione od wiedzy i zaangażowania pracowników w proces akredytacyjny, a także efektywnego kierownaia zespołami terapeutycznymi przez ordyantorów oddziałów. Stąd postanowiono zbadać, jaka jest wiedza o posiadaniu certyfikatu jakości i jak oceniają efektywność kierowania zespołami terapeutycznymi lekarze i pielęgniarki ze szpitali z akredytacją i bez certyfikatu jakości. Badaniami objęto 560 lekarzy i pielęgniarek z 4 szpitali z akredytacją i 17 bez certyfikatu jakości. Metodą badawczą był sondaż diagnostyczny, zaś techniką kwestionariusz ankiety. Materiał poddano analizie statystycznej. Stwierdzono różnice istotne statystycznie w wiedzy o posiadaniu certyfikatu jakości wśród pracowników ze szpitali z akredytacją w porównaniu z badanymi z zakładów bez certyfikatu. Efektywność kierowania zespołami terapeutycznymi przez ordynatorów/kierwoników klinik niżej ocenili badani ze szpitali bez akredytacji.

    Streszczenie angielskie: In order to provide a higher level of the quality of medical services an external process of evaluation of health care units called accreditation has been implemented. Obtaining the Quality Certificate by a hosptial greatly depends on knowledge and engagement of the staff in the accreditation process as well as on the effective managing of therpaeutic teams by ward heads/managers of clincis. Therefore, studies wre undertaken to discover the knowledge of requirements concerning the possession of the Quality Certificate and how managing theraeputic teams is evaluated by physicians and nurses from hospitals with and without accreditation. The study covered 560 physicians and nurses from 4 hospitals with accreditation and 17 hospitals which did not possess the Quality Certificate. The research method was a diagnostic survey, and the technique - a questionnaire form. The material was subject to statistical analysis. Significant differences were observed in the knowledge of requirements concerning the possessing of the Quality Certificate between the staff of hosptials with accreditation, compared to the respondents from health units without the Quality Certificate. Respondents from hospitals without accreditation evaluated the effectiveness of managig therapeutic teams by ward heads/managers of clinics in more negative terms, compared to the staff of hosptials which possessed the Quality Certificate.

    Streszczenie polskie: Efekty pracy w zespole w dużej mierze zależą od sprawności organizacyjnej kierownika. W zakładach opieki zdrwotnej za koordynację pracy zespołu terapeutycznego odpowiada lekarz-ordynator oddziału. Postanowiono sprawdzić, czy lekarze i pielęgniarki są świadome, że pracą zespołu terapeutycznego kieruje ordynator? Badaniu poddano 161 lekarzy oraz 339 pielęgniarek z 4 szpitali z akredytacją i 17 zakładów bez certyfikatu jakości. W badaniach zastosowano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego, zaś techniką był kwestionariusz ankiety. Wyniki badań wykazały, że znacznie częściej wyższą ocenę efektywności kierowania zespołem terapeutycznym ordynatorom/kierownikom klinik wystawiały pielęgniarki odcinkowe w szpitalach z akredytacją oraz ordynatorzy sobie w zakładach bez certyfikatu, zaś więcej ocen negatywnych podały pielęgniarki odcinkowe w zakładach bez akredytacji oraz więcej ocen negatywnych podały pielęgniarki odcinkowe w zakładach bez akredytacji oraz pielęgniarki oddziałowe ze szpitali z certyfikatem. Stwierdzono, że lekarze i pielęgniarki ze szpitali z akredytacją postrzegają istotnie statystycznie częściej w porównaniu z badanymi ze szpitali bez certyfikatu jakości, że ordynator oddziału kieruje praca zespołu terapeutycznego.

    Streszczenie angielskie: The effect of teamwork depend to a large extent on the organizational skills of the manager. It health care units a physician/ward head is responsible for coordinating the work of a therapeutic team. The study was undertaken to discover to what extent doctors and nurses are aware that the ward head manages the work of the therapeutic team, and how they evaluate the skills of their managers. The study covered 161 doctors and 339 nurses from 4 hospitals with accreditation and 17 health units which did not possess the Quality Certificate. The study was conducted by the method of diagnsotic survey, and the technique was a questionnaire form. The results of the survey showed that charge nurses in hospitals with accreditatin and ward heads in hospitals without the Quality Certificate significantly more often perceived the effectiveness of managing a therapeutic team by a ward head/manager of a clinic in positive terms. A greater number of negative evaluations were expressed by charge nurses in hospitals without accreditation and ward head nurses in hosptials with the Quality Certificate. It was confirmed that doctors and nurses from hospitals with accreditiation significantly more frequenty perceived the ward head as the manager of the therapeutic team, compared to the staff of hosptials without the Quality Certificate.

    Streszczenie polskie: Istotnym warunkiem efektywnie pracującego zespołu jest podział kompetencji wśród członków grupy. Kryteria akredytacyjne dla polskich szpitali stawiają wymóg sformułowania pisemnego zakresu obowiązków, uprawnień i odpowiedzialności na poszczególnych stanowiskach pracy. Warunkuje to wysoki poziom usług świadczonych przez członków zespołu terapeutycznego. Postanowiono sprawdzić, czy istnieje jednoznaczny podział kompetencji i czy ma on wpływ na poziom realizacji zakresu obowiązków, uprawnień i odpowiedzialności wśród członków zespołu terapeutycznego w oddziałach szpitalnych. Badaniami objęto 55 ordynatorów i kierwoników klinik, 72 pielęgniarki oddziałowe, 106 lekarzy asystentów i 327 pielęgniarek odcinkowych z 21 szpitali. Pracowali oni w 4 szpitalach z certyfikatem jakości i w 17 szpitalach bez akredytacji. Badania przeprowadzono metodą sondażu diagnostycznego, techniką był specjalnie skonstruowany kwestionariusz ankiety. Wyniki analizy porównawczej wykazały, że wśród członków zespołu terapeutycznego w szpitalach z certyfikatem jakości występuje istotnie częściej podział kompetencji zawodowych. Większość tej grupy badanych posiada zakresy obowiązków, uprawnień i odpowiedzialności na piśmie w porównaniu z lekarzami i pielęgniarkami ze szpitali bez akredytacji.     Streszczenie angielskie: An important precondition for an effectively working team is the distribution of competence among the members of the team. The accreditation criteria for Polish hosptials lay down a requirement concerning the formulation in a written form of the scope of duties, authorization and responsibility at individual workplaces. This conditions a high level of services provided by the members of a therapeutic team. Therefore, the study was udnertaken in order to discover whether there was an explicit share of competence and if it exerted an influece on the level of performance of the scope of duties, authorization and responsibility among members of therapeutic teams in hospital wards. The study covered 55 ward heads/ managers of clinics, 72 ward head nurses, 106 assistant doctors and 327 charge nurses from 21 hospitals, who were employed in 4 hospitals which possessed the Queality Certificate, and in 17 hospitals without accreditation. The study was conducted by the method of a diagnostic survey, the technique being a questionnaire form. The results of comparative analysis showed that among members of therapeutic teams in hospitals with the Quality Certificate the distribution of occupational competence was significantly more often observed.
