Streszczenie angielskie:
During the Nazi occupation of Poland in World War II, a Polish pharmacist Tadeusz Pankiewicz operated the pharmacy "Under the Eagle" in Cracow Ghetto until its liquidation in March 1943. He was the only non-Jewish Pole permitted to remain and work inside that ghetto. Risking his life, he and his workers in the Pharmacy helped Jews to survive and escape from the ghetto. A honorary title (and medal) was bestowed upon Mr. T. Pankiewicz by Yad Vashem in Jerusalem in 1983. In October this year, during the meeting organized in Cracow Museum "The Pharmacy under the Eagle", professor Szewach Weiss, the ambassador of Israel in Poland, presented the Museum with a copy of the medal. The Cracow Pharmacy Museum has also given some important exhibits to the "Pharmacy under the Eagle".
