    Streszczenie angielskie: This paper describes a new method supporting opthalmologists in glaucoma examinations based on digital fundus eye images (FEI) obtained from founds camera. The developed method (whose charit is given in Fig. 1) enables objectively to classify FEI into normal and glaucomatous ones. In the first stage, the contour of eye-cup on digital FEI is automatically detected. Then, the new, proposed morphological features are computed for the detected eye-cup. Finally, the parametric Bayes classification procedure is performed whose output in the diagnosis: normal or glaucomatous. The overall sensitivity of the method is 92,7 p.c., while its specificity 90,2 p.c.
