    Streszczenie angielskie: Porcelain mortars and pestles are frequently used to comminute drug substances and production of semisolid preparations in a community pharmacy. The cross-contamination in porcelain mortars is observed and the common washing procedures are often insufficient. The danger of cross-contamination is practically eliminated in plastic mortars. The incorporation of solid drugs into an ointment bases using levigation is discussed. The use of Unguator improve quality of the compounded ointments, creams, gels and suspensions and is highly recommended as useful equipment for a community pharmacy.
