    Streszczenie angielskie: Intestinal nematode infection is one of the most frequent forms of parasitic infections in the world. Also in Poland infections with Enterobius vermicularis, Trichuris trichiura and Ascaris lumbricoides are often observed in the practice of the first contact physician and create diagnostic difficulties. Hence, the objective of the study is to present recent data concerning epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnostics and treatment of these infections. The knowledge of these data will facilitate PHC physicians in making correct diagnosis and an effective elimination of the parasites.
