    Streszczenie angielskie: Comparison of theoretical and experimental results of the selection of primes suitable for bovine leukemia virus detection by PCR was presented. It was shown that primer sets characterised with 100 p.c. homology degree for all the BLV isolates and without palindromic regions within amplicon had good accuracy and reliability. Primers designed by multiple alignment and thermodynamic characteristics are proposed as universal ones for BLV detection by PCR.
