Streszczenie angielskie:
The aim of this work was the assessment of preventive seal method in primary molar teeth for the youngest children. 78 three years old children from Warsaw kindergartens were examined. 71 children were qualified for fissure sealant but the procedure was performed for 28 children. We seales the fissures in 108 teeth using Helioseal F material (Vivadent). Check-up examination was performed after 1,3 and 6-th months. We controlled the retention of material in fissures. We registered the partial and total loss of sealant in mesial and distal points of fissure of sealed teeth. After one month the teeth were controlled, and in this group 79 p.c. had overall sealant, after 3 month 65 p.c. and after 6 month 53 p.c. In this examination relation between OHI and keeping sealant wasn't observed but relation between keeping sealant and high number of dmf was confirmed. Relatively high teeth susceptibility to caries for children that have high number of dmf which is most often caused by weak mineralization of hard tissues. That fact condition probably better etching at the same time as in teeth in low dmf number children group.
