Stężenie 7-hydroksycholesteroli (7-OH) w grupie II (602,65 ń 264,46 ng/ml) i grupie III (570,94 ń 210,59 ng/ml) było znamiennie wyższe w porównaniu z grupą I (336,09 ń 220,74 ng/ml). Nie stwierdzono znamiennych różnic pomiędzy grupami w stężeniach 7-ketocholesterolu (7-K), TC, cholesterolu frakcji HDL i LDL, TG, witaminy E i wskaźnika witamina E/(TC + TG).

Streszczenie angielskie: Morbid obesity (BMI ň 40 kg/mý) is accompanied by lipid disturbances which may be involved in the increased incidence of arterial hypertension and non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus. The aim of the study was to assess plasma concentrations of total cholesterol (TC), HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, triglycerides (TG) and two parameters of oxidation stress - vitamin E and oxysterols, in morbidly obese patients with coexisting arterial hypertension and non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus. Studies were performed in 37 morbidly obese patients divided into three groups: group I - without coexisting diseases, group II - with arterial hypertension, and group III - with arterial hypertension and non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus. In all groups there was an increase in TG concentration, a decrease in HDL-cholesterol level, and normal values of TC and LDL-cholesterol. The concentrations of 7-hydroxycholesterols (7-OH) in group II (602.65 ń 264.46 ng/ml) and group III (570.94 ń 210.59 ng/ml) were significantly higher compared to that in group I (336.09 ń 220.74 ng/ml). There were no differences between groups concentrations of 7-ketocholesterols (7-K), TC, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, TG, vitamin E and vitamin E/(TC + TG) ratio. In all groups TC concentration correlated positively with TG concentration, and negatively with vitamin E/(TC + TG) ratio. Moreover, the positive correlation between TG and HDL-cholesterol concentrations, and negative correlation ...

Streszczenie angielskie: The histamine system influences various activities of the central nervous system, including cardiovascular regulation. Histamine administered intracerebroventricularly (icv) in anesthetized rats produces the increase in mean arterial pressure (MAP) and xdheart rate (HR), however, in contrast to normotensive animals, histamine-induced rises in MAP an dHR in critically hypotensive animals are significantly higher. Similarly to exogenous histamine, inhibition of the central histamine N-methyltransfer (HNMT) activity (the enzyme catabolizing histamine in the central nervous system) resulting in the increase in endogenous histamine concentration, also leads to the pressor effect in normotensive rats. The present study was designed to determine the role of endogenous centarl histamine in cardiovascular regulation in a rat model of blood volume-blood pressure controlled hemorrhagic hypotension. In normotensive animals, HNMT inhibitor SKF 91488 produced dose-dependent (20-100 ćg icv) pressor effect accompanied by tachycardia, similarly as exogenous histamine (0.5-5 ćg icv) did. The subpressor dose of SKF 91488 (10 ćg) evoked the increased in blood volumes necessary to induce hypotension of 40 and 20 mmHg and the action was accompanied by the rise in histamine concentrations in the hypothalamus (5.18 ń 0.45 vs 4.23 ń 0.41 nmol/g; p 0.5) and medulla oblongata (0.41 ń 0.05 vs 0.30 ń 0.06 nmol/g; p 0.05), with no changes in the cortical histamine concentrations (0.84 ń 0.18 vs 0.75 ń 0.17 nmol/g), compared to the conrol icv saline-treated group...

Streszczenie angielskie: Volume-controlled irreversible haemorrhagic shock in rats produced by blood withdrawal until stabilisation of critical mean arterial pressure (MAP) 20-25 mmHg is associated with an extreme decrease in cardiac index (CI) and an increase in total peripheral resistance index (TPRI), with reductions in renal (RBF), hindquarters (HBF) and mesentric blood flow (MBF), and leads to the death of all control animals within 30 min. Histamine (100 nmol) injected intracerebroventricularly (i.c.v.) in the early phase of critical hypotension produces a prompt and long-lasting increase in MAP and heart rate, with a 100 p.c. survival for 2 h after treatment. The effects are associated with the rise in the circulating blood volume and CI, and the decrease in TPRI, with the increase in RBF and HBF, and persistently lowered MBF. Both splenectomy and ligation of the suprahepatic veins inhibit histamine-induced increase in circulating blood volume as well as cardiac and regional haemodynamic effects. It can be concluded that histamine administered icv activates central endogenous compensatory mechanisms, which leads to the reversal of haemorrhagic shock conditions due to mobilisation of blood from venous reservoirs, the increase in circulating blood volume and its redistribution. Moreover, histamine evokes the rises in CI and perfusion of the renal skeletal muscle vascular regions.

Streszczenie polskie: Wstęp: W stanie wstrząsu krwotocznego następuje wzrost wydzielania endogennych peptydów opioidowych zarówno w ośrodkowym układzie nerwowym, jak i w tkankach obwodowych. Wydzielane ośrodkowo peptydy opioidowe odgrywają zasadniczą rolę w regulacji czynności kompleksu sercowo-naczynioruchowego, ponieważ, jak wskazują badania doświadczalne, pobudzenie receptorów ć opraz zablokowanie receptorów ë1 opóźnia rozpoczęcie fazy hamowania aktywności układu współczulnego w odpowiedzi na powstającą hipowolemię, natomiast pobudzenie receptorów kappa blokuje aktywację mechanizmów kompensacyjnych. Cel pracy: W pracy przedstawiono rolę peptydów opioidowych w obwodowych mechanizmach regulacyjnych związanych ze wstrząsem krwotocznym. Wnioski: Zablokowanie obwodowych receptorów opioidowych powoduje w stanie wstrząsu efekt presyjny wynikający ze wzrostu całkowitego obwodowego oporu naczyniowego oraz działania inotropowego dodatniego. Ponadto, zniesienie wpływu endogennych peptydów opioidowych na wydzielanie hormonów zmniejsza zaburzenia gospodarki kwasowo-zasadowej oraz zapobiega dysfunkcji śródbłonka naczyń krwionośnych.
