Streszczenie angielskie: Measurements of dc electrical conductivity were performed on the air-dried BAT collagen, within a temperature range of 290-500 K. The temperature elevation of the sample led to an increase in electrical conductivity. The signa-T relationship reflects the following: the structure of the material, the thermal history of the sample and interactions with ionising radiation. The changes in dc electrical conductively generated during linear heating were analysed to determine the processes occurring in the material. The activation energy of the charge conduction process was calculated on the basis of the Arrhenius plots for electrical conductivity. In comparison with non-irradiated samples, the dose of 50 kGy led to higher electrical conductivity up to 440 K. For the dose of 500 kGy, for all temperatures, a distinct increase in electrical conductivity was observed. At temperatures below the flex point, i.e. 415 K and 460 K for 50 and 500 kGy respectively, the activation energy was dose-independent. At temperatures higher than the flex point, irradiation decreased the activation energy. For higher temperatures, the activation energy increased with the dose.

Streszczenie angielskie: Dielectric spectroscopy has been applied to the study of the relaxation mechanisms of bone and keratin in the electric field frequency range of 10**1-10**5 Hz and at temperatures from 22 to 200řC. In this paper, particular attention has been paid to the effects of temperature and ionising radiation on the dielectric properties of these biological materials.
