    Streszczenie angielskie: The aim of the study was asses the effectiveness of the Peroxy Dental Gel 1 p.c. in gingivitis and periodontis treatment. Active substance is hydrogen peroxide in concentration of 1 p.c. and the medicine is in a gel used to local aplication on the gingival margin and into the periodontal packed. Clinical examinaton showed Peroxyl Dental Gel 1 p.c. has effect on improvement of periodontal tissues status in patients with gingivitis and periodontis, it could be used after skaling as a supplementary therapy.

    Streszczenie angielskie: Desquamative gingivitis (DG) is not a distinct disease, but a clinical manifestation of several muco-cutaneous diseases, in particular mucous membrane memphigoid, lichen planus and pemphigus vulgaris. Clincally it is characaterized by erythema and swelling of alveolar mucosa, desquamation of epithelium and erosions. The accurate diagnosis is ciritical for proper treatment. In this study we discuss the clinical signs of diseases most frequently causing desquamative gingivitis, as far as additional examinations leading to the correct diagnosis.
