Streszczenie angielskie:
The folk and manor culture in Poland have common roots. They were interfered by each other and the medicine knowledge was developed by both of them. Therefore it is difficult to distinguish which part of it was by peasants or by nobles. Our notion about folk culture and folk therapeutics is originated from the XIX century studies. They were provided mainly by Oscar Kolberg and others who published their works in such periodicals like "Wisła" and "Lud" were information was presented adequately to the national expectations and the imagination of national culture. The problem is that our attempts to find answer to the question of the folk medicine origin is influenced first of all by their works.
