    Streszczenie angielskie: The quality of recorded Brain Stem Auditory Evoked Responses (BAERS) greatly depends on many factors such as potential characteristic, skin preparation, and level of background noise. That is why three is a need of a stable source of a BAERS signal with a priori known signal to noise ratio (SNR). The paper describes an acoustical triggered signal source of Brain Stem Auditory Evoked Potentials, called an EP generator that imitates the real investigation with the patient. The main concept to similar to the arbitrary waveform generator where signal is playedback from memory. The heart of the EP generator is trigerred D/A converter that after click produces, one of ten patterns stored in the data memory. Noise may be added to pattern signal with a defined SNR in the range of 8 to 60 dB. Application of the proposed EP generator is similar to the examination of the patient and can significantly improve testing the quality of BAERS data recording systems.
