    Streszczenie angielskie: Ventricular septal rupture is a severe complication of myocardial infarction. Experience in the transcatheter treatment in this condition is still limited. We present a 63-year-old patient with post-infarction ventricular septal defect (VSD) who developed cardiogenic shock prior to the elective surgical revascularisation. urgent cardiac catheterisation with the implantation of three coronary stents and VSD closure with the Amplatzeratrial septal occluder were performed. A uneventful course of the one year follow-up confirmed good results of this compex interventional treatment.
